# Mechanical Engineer

## The role

As a Mechanical Engineer at Elten you work with your colleagues on logistics systems for our customers around the world. You share responsibility for the design of machines and installations, so projects are delivered on schedule. You work within the framework your project engineer sets.

## What will you do?

- Make design choices based on the sales specifications
- Design complex machines and installations, in line with the Machinery Directive
- Validate your design with calculations
- Create and detail drawings, 3D models and manuals
- Support the testing of machines and installations
- Provide input to the project teams

## What do we ask?

- A completed vocational (level 3) or bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or similar
- Preferably 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar role
- Experience with PTC Creo Direct Modeling is a plus

A Certificate of Conduct (VOG) is part of starting with us. We request it for you online.
