# Sales Consultant

- Location: Veenendaal
- Hours: 32-40 hours

## The role

As a Sales Consultant you make sure the sale of machines and installations runs efficiently and effectively. You get to the bottom of what the customer needs and turn it into successful orders. You think along about new and existing products, make accurate calculations and build lasting customer relationships.

An affinity with technology is essential, but above all we are looking for a driven and commercially strong personality.

## What will you do?

- Map the customer’s needs, draw up the requirements and visit sites where needed
- Prepare calculations and layouts, calculate capacities and compile the Functional Design Specification on order
- Maintain and grow customer relationships, and negotiate contracts and prices with the sales manager
- Follow the market and competitors, visit trade fairs and give presentations
- Work with the internal disciplines and record customer information in the ERP system (Ridder)

## What do we ask?

- A completed bachelor’s degree or a bachelor’s level of work and thinking
- At least 2 years of experience in a similar role
- A proven affinity with technology, in particular machine building
- Excellent spoken and written Dutch and English
