Automatic crate stacker

About the machine

Stacking crates is hard manual work, and it is becoming more and more expensive. The automatic crate stackers from Elten stack millions of crates every day for customers worldwide. This takes the work out of your line and reduces physical complaints among your people.

Well-thought-out simplicity

Automation only pays off if your machine keeps running. That is why the stackers are as simple and user-friendly as possible, with as few parts as possible, and only of high quality.

Adapted to your crates

Customer-specific, with standard components: the machine is matched to the weight and size of your crates. Are you looking for a standard machine or a machine with a very high capacity? Do you want to stack, destack or both? Standalone or as part of a complete system? And are the infeed and outfeed at different heights? There is a suitable solution for every combination.

Benefits

  • Cost-efficient
  • Ergonomically sound
  • Continuous production
  • High reliability
  • 24/7 support
  • Low energy consumption
  • Robust design: minimal maintenance and a longer service life

How it works

The machine in operation

A full stack in, single crates out. Scroll along with an Elten destacker at work.

  1. Infeed

The stack rolls over the roller conveyor into the machine and comes to a stop right under the gripper.

  2. Gripping

The gripper lowers along the stack and clamps it exactly above the crate that needs to come off.

  3. Destacking

Crate by crate, one is released, at the pace of the line behind it. No manual work, no lifting.

  4. Outfeed

Each crate goes onto the belt separately, ready to be filled, washed or sorted.
