The role
As a Software Engineer you are part of a multidisciplinary team that develops our logistics systems for our customers. You play a central role in the design across the phases of a project: in preparation, in the final design and in execution you are responsible for the operation and control of a wide range of projects.
You have a passion for machine control technology and an affinity with industrial automation. You communicate well, work independently and have a practical, flexible attitude. You are also an enthusiastic team player.
What will you do?
- Develop, configure and implement software from a functional design
- Commission machines on site, in the Netherlands and abroad
- Think ahead about the development of control systems and the collection and processing of data
- Plan and monitor progress, so the work stays within time, quality and budget
What do we ask?
- A bachelor’s level of work and thinking
- Several years of experience as a software engineer in industrial automation
- Experience with Siemens TIA Portal
- Experience with Allen Bradley and SEW MoviTools/MoviSuite is a plus
- Strong spoken and written Dutch and English
- Willing to join the on-call service (often remote, about once every ten weeks)
