Elten Logistic Systems proudly presents our innovative automated roll container handling systems, developed for one of the largest food retail chains in Belgium. This advanced warehouse automation system improves the efficiency of supply chain processes, with smooth and reliable handling of roll containers and beer crates.
Optimized roll container handling process
Our system starts at a buffer for empty roll containers, where an operator easily loads up to eight nested roll containers on the ground floor. These roll containers are then automatically transported to the first floor by our high-quality roll container lift, which connects seamlessly to the warehouse system. An advanced T-car system moves the containers to a buffer lane, ready for further processing. At the end of the lane, the roll containers are brought back to the ground floor, where our patented roll container opener unfolds and assembles the containers one by one. The containers are then placed on slave pallets for further processing.
Efficient automation for beverage and beer crates
In addition to the roll containers, Elten has implemented two automated beer crate and beverage loading systems. Our solution arranges the crates in the right order, after which a clamping unit gently places them on the modular conveyor belt. Stacking is automatic, and as soon as the stack is complete, it is transported to the ground floor for easy placement in the roll containers.
Seamless integration into the logistics flow
As soon as the loaded roll containers are ready, they are pushed from the slave pallets onto a conveyor lane. The system includes a lift and a turntable that rotates the containers for correct alignment before they are moved to designated buffer lanes, ready for distribution in the warehouse with electric pallet trucks.
